Job Description

Role Overview: As a Set Designer, your primary responsibility will be to produce plans, drawings, and models of sets for productions. You will be expected to bring imaginative and innovative ideas to set designing, keeping up with ongoing trends to create the best possible sets. Additionally, you will work closely with the creative director to discuss and implement set designs that convey the artistic style of the production. Key Responsibilities: - Produce plans, drawings, and models of sets - Prepare estimates of set costs - Manage budgets effectively - Bring out imaginative and innovative ideas for set designing - Design interior and exterior sets based on approved visual development - Create detailed working drawings at appropriate scale - Convey the artistic style of a given production through drawings and models - Coordinate with supervisors and various departments - Work within set schedules - Visit possible outside broadcast sites Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree or diploma in designing - Solid aesthetic sense and ability to interpret the unique "style" of the film - Proficient in software such as Vector Works, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator - Working knowledge of waterjet, laser cut systems, printers, and scanners - Clear understanding of miniature scale and forced perspective - Strong knowledge of drafting standards, views, and conventions - Genuine interest, knowledge, and experience in visual arts - Qualities of determination and perseverance Please note that the company did not provide any additional details.,
