ServiceNow ITOM Developer

Role: ServiceNow ITOM Developer

• Experience with technical ServiceNow components such as: business rules, client scripts, UI policies and actions, UI pages and macros, script includes, flow designer, web services, reports, etc. 
• Experience with working or developing in the following programming languages: HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript, JavaScript API, Client and Server-side Scripting, ServiceNow API's, Web Services
• Proficiency with HTML, JavaScript-Angular JS, XML, AJAX, Jelly, CSS, SOAP, REST etc. Proficiency with ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, Discovery, Knowledge, CMDB, etc. 
• Experience administering, configuring, developing, implementing and customizing ServiceNow platform and related integrations.
• Provide timely support to user queries and troubleshooting issues. 
• Documenting code and application functionality 
• Performing Code reviews and quality control checks 
• Basic support for ServiceNow platform users and technical functionalities.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of any issues that arise to minimize downtime and service disruption.
• Engagement in problem management, including trend analysis and root cause investigation.
• Active participation in change and release management processes to align with Spark's operational strategies.
• Delivering regular reports on platform performance, service utilization, and improvement opportunities
• Advise and facilitation of platform upgrade planning and delivery.

Technical Skills

• Minimum 4 years of Integrations Discovery, Service Mapping, ITOM, Integrations, Virtual agent, Performance analytics, SecOps in an enterprise environment with ServiceNow experience
• Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management knowledge.
• Expertise programming using JavaScript 
• Service Bridge Integration
• Service portal experience
• Integration using Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Integration using Data sources (JDBC, SFTP).
• MID Server installation and usage of probes.
• Knowledge of Orchestration
• Experience with ServiceNow automated discovery tool 
• Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of the latest ServiceNow features. 
• Ability to troubleshoot technical/application problems
