ServiceNow Developer – SecOps (SIR & VR)

Type: Contract

Location: Remote

Rate: $23 per hour maximum

Shift: 2:00 to 11:00 PM IST

Top Skills:

• Strong hands-on expertise in

  ServiceNow SecOps

  – implementation, integration & customization (SIR & VR modules).
• Proficient in

  JavaScript, Glide APIs, scripting

  (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Client Scripts).
• Experience integrating with

  security tools

  like Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Splunk, CrowdStrike.
• Solid knowledge of

  Security Operations, Incident Response, and Vulnerability Management.

• ServiceNow Certified

  – CAD, CIS (SIR/VR preferred), CSA mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure & customize

  ServiceNow SecOps (SIR & VR)

  modules.
• Build integrations with external security tools and automate workflows.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and ServiceNow teams to define & deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot module/integration issues & maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and user training.

Experience Required:

• 5–7 years

  overall ServiceNow development;

  2–3 years in SecOps (SIR/VR).

• Strong in

  REST/SOAP integrations

  , UI customization, and Agile delivery.
• Familiarity with

  CMDB, ITSM, and ITIL

  best practices.
• Excellent

  communication, analytical, and client-facing

  skills.

Certifications (Preferred):

• CIS – SIR / CIS – VR

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• CSA, ITIL v3/v4
