Job Summary:

ServiceNow Backend Developer /ServiceNow Portal Developer

automation for ITSM and other ServiceNow modules.

Key Responsibilities:

JavaScript

Server-side scripting

ITSM, CMDB, Incident,

Change, Problem, Service Catalog

business rules, script includes, scheduled jobs, ACLs

other backend components.

• Build integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using

REST/SOAP APIs

• Maintain and improve backend performance, scalability, and security.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and process owners to define

requirements and deliver robust solutions.

• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and governance

guidelines.

• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and participate in deployment processes.

• Maintain proper documentation of code, architecture, and configurations.

CSA, CAD, CM Pro or SOM

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

3+ years

CMDB

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems (REST, SOAP, LDAP,

etc.).

Access Control Rules (ACLs)

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skill
