Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Job Description : ServiceNow Developer, Sr. Developer and Tech Lead ( Minimum 3 Years to 10 Years ) Acon/Con/AM Only Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer, Sr. Developer and Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. This role requires hands-on expertise in ServiceNow development, with a strong emphasis on scripting and deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform's processes. The ideal candidate will lead technical initiatives, drive development projects, and ensure the delivery of robust ServiceNow solutions. Note: ServiceNow Administrators are not eligible for this position. Key Responsibilities Development and Scripting : Design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages. Technical Leadership : For Tech Lead role, Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Platform Expertise : Leverage in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and processes to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. Solution Design : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Process Optimization : Implement and optimize ServiceNow processes, ensuring seamless functionality across modules and applications. Integration and Automation : Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using Integration hub, REST, SOAP, and other APIs, while driving automation initiatives. Troubleshooting and Support : Identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring platform stability and performance. Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance platform capabilities. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience : Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience Scripting Expertise : Proficient in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, AngularJS) for custom application development, business rules, script includes, and UI scripts. ServiceNow Platform Knowledge : Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data models, and core functionalities (e.g., Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog, CMDB, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub). Process Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow processes, including workflow configuration, service catalog development, and platform automation. Module Expertise : Good-to-have understanding of ITSM, HRSD, GRC, ITOM, and ITAM modules, with experience in implementing or customizing these modules being a plus. Integration Skills : Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and other API-based technologies. Education : Bachelor’s degree or a related field (or equivalent experience). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Understanding of ITIL frameworks and their application within ServiceNow. Eligibility Criteria Candidates must have hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform. ServiceNow Administrators without development and scripting experience are not eligible for this role. Must be able to demonstrate expertise through prior projects, code samples, or certifications
