ServiceNow Intermediate Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions in alignment with business requirements across modules like

  ITSM, ITOM, SPM, GRC, and Asset Management

  .
• Participate in all phases of SDLC including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
  
• Customize and configure core modules using

  Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer

  .
• Develop and manage

  Service Catalog Items

  including flows, scripts, and portal pages.
• Design and tweak the

  Employee Center Portal

  , ensuring a seamless and user-friendly interface.
• Utilize

  REST APIs

  for integration with external systems and internal services.
• Implement

  Automated Test Framework (ATF)

  to create reusable test scripts for regression testing.
• Create insightful reports and dashboards using

  native reporting tools

  and

  Performance Analytics

  .
• Conduct

  code reviews

  to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Participate in

  debugging and resolving technical issues

  across environments.
• Support

  ServiceNow platform upgrades

  , patch deployments, and feature enhancements.
• Manage the promotion and packaging of code and configurations between different environments.
  
• Ensure compliance with governance and quality standards across development and deployment processes.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, testers, and project managers in Agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions and configurations.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree

  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3–5 years of total IT experience

  with

  at least 3 years of hands-on experience

  in ServiceNow development and configuration.
• Proficiency in

  JavaScript

  ,

  Flow Designer

  , and

  REST API integrations

  .
• Strong experience with

  ServiceNow ITSM

  and hands-on involvement with at least 2 or more of the following:

  ITOM, SPM, GRC, Asset Management

  .
• Expertise in building and maintaining

  Service Catalog Items

  , including scripting and automation.
• Experience in using

  ServiceNow Agile 2.0

  and

  JIRA

  for tracking development work.
• Understanding and application of the

  ITIL framework

  in ServiceNow implementations.
• Knowledge of

  UI design

  ,

  UI Actions/Policies

  , and custom portal development.
• Experience with

  unit and system testing

  , including the use of

  ATF

  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
