NexusNow.ai is looking for a skilled CMDB Specialist with at least 6 years of experience in managing Configuration Management Databases (CMDB), IT Service Management (ITSM) development, IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules, and ServiceNow Discovery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining data integrity within the CMDB, troubleshooting issues, mapping Configuration Items (CIs), and ensuring seamless integration with ITSM and ITOM processes. Key Responsibilities: CMDB Management: Maintain, update, and optimize the ServiceNow CMDB to ensure accuracy and compliance with best practices. ITOM & Discovery: Configure and enhance ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management) for automated asset and CI discovery. ITSM Development: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate CMDB with Incident, Change, Problem, and Asset Management processes. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies, relationship mapping issues, and performance bottlenecks. CI Mapping & Relationships: Define and maintain relationships between CIs to support impact analysis and dependency tracking. Data Quality & Governance: Establish data governance policies, enforce best practices, and conduct audits to ensure CMDB integrity. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, security, and infrastructure teams to enhance CMDB usability and functionality. Automation & Optimization: Implement automation strategies using ServiceNow scripting, workflows, and integrations to improve CMDB efficiency. Proficiency in scripting on NOW platform Scoped Application Integration - Scripted Rest API, Rest Message Data load through data source, import set and Transform Map Required Qualifications & Skills: 6+ years of experience in managing ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and Discovery. Hands-on expertise in CMDB administration, data modeling, and CI class structures. Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving CI reconciliation, duplication, and integration issues. Experience in ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management). Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting for automation and customization. Knowledge of ITIL processes, best practices, and governance frameworks. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
