Description
In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Handling various post sales opportunities such as generating spares opportunities, framing Annual Maintenance contracts, framing rate contract for spares and man-day service, shutdown jobs, offshore contracts for field products in South India while being overall responsible for MSOL LCS Business Growth. - Assisting customers in selecting spares/services based on the installed base, considering lead-time and budgetary requirements. - Proactively following up on quotations to secure orders promptly. - Responding to customers' commercial and technical inquiries (via phone and email) in a timely manner. - Ensuring purchase orders align with the offered financial and technical proposals and resolving any order cycle issues. - Maintaining accurate records in CRM and other necessary tools. - Conducting site walk activities and workshops for generating leads and showcasing service strengths. - Managing orders, accurate planning & forecasting of orders, and implementing initiatives for business growth. - Exploring upgrades, revamps, and refurbishments in old installed bases. - Generating leads for competition displacements and collaborating with service and operations teams to meet customer deliverables. - Working on customer RFQs, submitting tenders, engaging in commercial discussions, and utilizing negotiation skills to close orders. - Addressing customers' requirements and expectations proficiently. - Collaborating closely with other regional Service Sales Engineers, Product Sales Engineers, HO, proposal team, and Order Entry Team for RFQs/opportunities and orders. For this role, you will need: - Good technical knowledge in Level, Flow, Wireless, and Corrosion technologies. - Work experience on products like PT/DPT/TT, Radar level, Coriolis, Magnetic & Vortex flow meters, Flow computers, and associated skid components. - Knowledge of Metering Skids, SRV systems, B&T Systems, GCs, flow computers, etc. - Strong presentation and communication skills. Preferred qualifications that set you apart: - Bachelor's in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 4-6 years of work experience in sales. - Experience in Analytical Systems for the Power and Oil & Gas Industry. - Experience with various Emerson field instruments like Measurement products, flow products, Metering skids, and Analyzer systems.
