Job Description

As an experienced candidate for the position, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational, team management, customer relationship, revenue and business growth, process compliance, and inventory & workshop maintenance aspects of the workshop. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Operational Management: - Supervise and manage daily workshop operations and service flow. - Ensure smooth coordination between front office, technicians, and parts department. - Monitor job card opening, service estimation, technician allocation, and final delivery timelines. - Ensure timely execution of scheduled maintenance, general repairs, and accidental jobs. - Team Management: - Lead, train, and monitor the service team including Service Advisors, Technicians, and Helpers. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and skill development sessions. - Motivate the team to achieve service targets and KPIs (e.g. labor revenue, job card count, productivity). - Customer Relationship & Satisfaction: - Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution. - Monitor Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and implement corrective actions to improve scores. - Promote customer retention through loyalty programs, AMC packages, and follow-ups. - Revenue & Business Growth: - Achieve monthly service revenue targets (labor and parts). - Increase service footfall through campaigns, reminders, and special offers. - Track and improve upselling of value-added services (engine oil, Teflon coating, accessories, etc.). - Process Compliance: - Ensure adherence to OEM (manufacturer) service processes and guidelines. - Maintain proper documentation of service records, warranty claims, job cards, etc. - Conduct periodic audits on safety, quality, tools, and equipment. - Inventory & Workshop Maintenance: - Coordinate with the parts department for availability of fast-moving and critical parts. - Ensure workshop tools and infrastructure are maintained in good condition.
