Job Description

As a Workshop Service Manager, your role involves overseeing the operational management, team management, customer relationship, revenue growth, process compliance, inventory, and workshop maintenance in the workshop. Your key responsibilities include: - Supervising and managing daily workshop operations and service flow. - Ensuring smooth coordination between the front office, technicians, and parts department. - Monitoring job card opening, service estimation, technician allocation, and final delivery timelines. - Ensuring timely execution of scheduled maintenance, general repairs, and accidental jobs. - Leading, training, and monitoring the service team including Service Advisors, Technicians, and Helpers. - Conducting regular performance evaluations and skill development sessions. - Motivating the team to achieve service targets and KPIs such as labor revenue, job card count, and productivity. - Handling escalated customer complaints and ensuring timely resolution. - Monitoring Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and implementing corrective actions to improve scores. - Promoting customer retention through loyalty programs, AMC packages, and follow-ups. - Achieving monthly service revenue targets for labor and parts. - Increasing service footfall through campaigns, reminders, and special offers. - Tracking and improving upselling of value-added services such as engine oil, Teflon coating, and accessories. - Ensuring adherence to OEM (manufacturer) service processes and guidelines. - Maintaining proper documentation of service records, warranty claims, job cards, etc. - Conducting periodic audits on safety, quality, tools, and equipment. - Coordinating with the parts department for the availability of fast-moving and critical parts. - Ensuring workshop tools and infrastructure are maintained in good condition. In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, the company offers benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, health insurance, paid sick time, and Provident Fund.
