Description
As an IS Service Manager for R&D, engineering, and product management at ABB Motion, you play a crucial role in supporting applications within the Motion IS PLM Domain. Your primary responsibilities include: - Delivering and maintaining IS solutions aligned with business needs and compliance standards. - Managing cloud infrastructure and PLM applications for optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency. - Supervising end-to-end service delivery, covering project management, testing, training, user support, and quality assurance. - Ensuring compliance and security through audits, policy adherence, and proactive risk management. - Leading application lifecycle management, including deployments, incident handling, and service desk coordination. - Driving continuous improvement in service delivery processes, asset management, and cost efficiency. - Supporting strategic planning, budgeting, and collaborating with stakeholders on roadmaps and forecasting. - Building and leading high-performing teams, focusing on skills development, resource planning, and alignment with service levels. - Aligning applications with business strategy and needs. - Defining and monitoring the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for applications based on business requirements and delivery organization. Qualifications required for this role: - Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in PLM/CAD or other Engineering Applications. - Prior experience in leading IS teams is mandatory. - Excellent IS development and operations skills with a deep understanding of business processes and technologies. - Experience in identifying and resolving issues between team members or other teams. - Ability to translate business requirements into technical IS capabilities and solutions. - Project planning and execution experience, along with knowledge of system management and life cycle economics. - Proficiency in ITIL processes, strong knowledge of IS Infrastructure (Cloud Hosting). - Strong background in information management, computer systems, business engineering, or a similar field.
