Service Leader SMT (Fuji Equipment Specialist)

As a Service Leader specializing in Fuji SMT equipment, your role will involve overseeing service operations for SMT machines, particularly focusing on Fuji platforms such as NXT and NXTR series. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading service operations for SMT machines, primarily Fuji platforms. - Installing, commissioning, and supporting Fuji SMT lines at customer sites efficiently. - Supervising a team of field service engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management. - Acting as a technical escalation point for complex service and maintenance issues. - Conducting preventive maintenance programs and audits to ensure optimal machine performance. - Maintaining strong communication with Fuji Japan for technical updates and escalations. - Coordinating with cross-functional teams for seamless customer support. - Preparing and maintaining detailed service reports, logs, and documentation as per company standards. - Driving continuous improvement initiatives in service delivery and customer satisfaction. - Providing technical training to internal teams and customer personnel. - Ensuring compliance with all EHS and quality standards. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering. - 12+ years of experience in the SMT industry, with at least 8 years focused on Fuji SMT machines. - In-depth knowledge of Fuji platforms: NXTR, NXT series, feeders, placement heads, and vision systems. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in hardware and software aspects of SMT machines. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Willingness to travel to customer sites as required. - Familiarity with IPC standards and SMT process optimization is a plus. - Experience with other SMT brands such as Panasonic, Yamaha, ASM is advantageous. Preferred certifications for this role include the Fuji Certified Engineer (if applicable) and IPC-A-610 or equivalent SMT standards training.
