Job Title: Service Engineer Department: Technical Services / Engineering Reports To: Service Manager / Technical Manager Location: All Over West Bengal Company Profile : We are authorized dealer of Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited. We provide after sales service of Kirloskar DG gensets & also sale spare parts. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment or systems, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and equipment performance. Key Responsibilities: Install, commission, and configure new equipment at client sites. Perform routine maintenance and scheduled servicing on equipment. Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions to restore equipment to proper working order. Respond to service calls and provide technical support on-site or remotely. Maintain accurate records of service visits, findings, actions taken, and parts used. Train customers and end-users on proper operation and maintenance of equipment. Escalate unresolved technical issues to higher-level engineers or R&D teams. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all fieldwork. Provide feedback on recurring issues for product or service improvement. Requirements: Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/IT or related fields). Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in equipment servicing or a similar technical role. Skills: Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software. Willingness to travel frequently for field service work. Working Conditions: Field-based role with frequent travel. May require work during weekends, evenings, or emergency call-outs. Physical activity may be required (lifting, standing, bending, etc.).
