Service Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team to handle the servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of JCB construction machinery. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Freshers with a diploma/degree in mechanical or automobile engineering are welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

For Freshers:

• Assist senior engineers in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of JCB machines.
• Learn to perform regular preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain proper documentation of service and repairs.
• Understand JCB technical manuals and service tools under guidance.
• Provide support at customer sites under supervision.

For Experienced Candidates:

• Independently diagnose and repair faults in JCB backhoe loaders, excavators, and other equipment.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance at workshop or customer locations.
• Ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer complaints.
• Maintain service logs and prepare detailed reports.
• Train and supervise junior technicians if required.
• Coordinate with the parts department for timely availability of spare parts.
• Uphold safety and quality standards during all service activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.
• Fresher candidates must have basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Experienced candidates should have 1-5+ years of experience in service and maintenance of JCB or similar heavy machinery.

Key Skills:

• Technical knowledge of hydraulics, engines, and electricals.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Familiarity with JCB diagnostic tools and service software (for experienced).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
