Job Description

Position: Service Engineer

a) Qualification:

BE / DME (Mechanical / Automobile Engineering preferred)

b) Experience:

5 to 7 years of experience in the Service function, preferably in
brake or clutch systems
.
Exposure to
emerging brake and vehicle system technologies
.
Experience in working with
OEM dealerships
and
authorized service centres
.
Hands-on experience in
joint investigations
related to brake system performance and failures.

c) Key Deliverables:

Manage
warranty claims and expenses
within approved budgets on a month-to-month basis.
Conduct
technical training programs
for Authorized Service Centres (ASC) and OEM Dealerships.
Execute
field service activities
as per monthly plans.
Monitor and report on
competitor activities
,
product performance
, and
warranty trends
.
Analyse
product defects
, coordinate
corrective actions
, and document preventive measures.

d) Skills Required:

Proficiency in
MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
for reporting and analysis.
Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills
to identify and resolve product or field issues.
Ability to
continuously learn and adapt
to new developments in brake and vehicle systems.
Good
communication and coordination skills
for cross-functional and field interactions.
