The role involves working on existing control algorithms, implementing changes in MATLAB/Simulink, and performing unit testing, model verification, and code generation as per automotive safety and quality guidelines. Key Responsibilities Develop, modify, and maintain Simulink/Stateflow models for embedded control systems. Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 requirements during model design, validation, and documentation. Perform unit testing, model-in-the-loop (MIL), and software-in-the-loop (SIL) verification. Generate and verify embedded code (e.g., using Embedded Coder) from models, ensuring traceability and standards adherence. Analyze existing algorithms, identify issues, and implement improvements in a structured and compliant manner. Position Summary Qualification: B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in the aftermarket for auto components , with hands-on exposure to working with distributors and regional dealers . Should have experience in conducting brand-building activities and ensuring effective coverage of retail and freelance service shops . Key Deliverables: Achieve monthly sales and collection targets as per the approved budget. Plan and execute brand-building and promotional activities as per the monthly plan. Develop and maintain strong relationships across the channel from distributors and WSDs to end consumers and mechanics. Conduct loyalty studies and provide regular market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and product movements. Handle a multi-product portfolio covering Passenger Vehicles, LCVs, M&HCVs, and Tractors. Skills Required: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) . Strong analytical ability to study product performance, field issues, and customer feedback. Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal. Exposure to air brake systems and foundation brakes will be an added advantage.

Hands-on experience in joint investigations related to brake system performance and failures. c) Key Deliverables: Manage warranty claims and expenses within approved budgets on a month-to-month basis. Conduct technical training programs for Authorized Service Centres (ASC) and OEM Dealerships. Execute field service activities as per monthly plans. Monitor and report on competitor activities , product performance , and warranty trends . Analyse product defects , coordinate corrective actions , and document preventive measures. d) Skills Required: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve product or field issues. Ability to continuously learn and adapt to new developments in brake and vehicle systems. Good communication and coordination skills for cross-functional and field interactions.
