Solar Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct service and preventive maintenance of rooftop solar PV systems.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in solar inverters, panels, and electrical systems.
• Handle service calls and customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Perform performance checks and ensure the optimal output of systems.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with the central team for spare parts and service support.
• Follow safety and quality guidelines during service operations.
• Guide customers with basic troubleshooting and remote monitoring tools.
• Assist in warranty claims and system upgrades as needed.

Required Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of rooftop solar PV systems and inverters.
• Familiarity with brands like Growatt, Sungrow, Solis, Delta, etc.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, and I-V tracers.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams (SLD) and wiring layouts.
• Basic understanding of net metering and remote monitoring systems.
• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Willingness to travel locally within Ahmedabad and nearby areas.

Preferred:

• Experience in C&I rooftop systems preferred.
• Knowledge of hybrid or battery-backed systems is a plus.
• Understanding of DISCOM net metering and documentation process.
