Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer with experience in the installation of glass units and a solid understanding of the glass industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site installation, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of glass systems and equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction through technical support and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and commission glass units and related systems at customer sites.
• Provide technical support for product issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on glass machinery or installations.
• Liaise with clients to understand installation requirements and site conditions.
• Conduct training for customers on proper usage and maintenance of glass systems.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Prepare service reports and documentation post-installation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all site work.
• Support the sales and project team with technical insights when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical
• 2+ years of experience in installation and service of glass units or within the glass industry.
• Strong knowledge of glass handling equipment, curtain wall systems, or insulated glass units (IGUs).
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with tools and machinery used in glass installation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
