Service Designer

As a Service Designer at e.l.f. Beauty, Inc., you will play a crucial role in architecting seamless service experiences for both customer journeys and internal operations. Collaborating closely with UX, product, and ops teams, you will ensure that our digital experiences are driven by efficient and scalable systems. Your primary focus will be on enhancing business value by increasing revenue, reducing operational costs, and enhancing employee productivity. Your responsibilities will involve documenting end-to-end customer and employee journeys to identify pain points and areas for improvement, developing service blueprints that connect people, tools, and processes, redesigning services to impact metrics such as revenue, return rates, and support efficiency, and facilitating workshops to align cross-functional teams in creating scalable service models. Additionally, you will be responsible for integrating services with internal systems, validating and testing service improvements, defining and tracking service metrics, enabling change through documentation and training, and designing systems with a strategic focus on measurable impact. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in service design, CX, or experience strategy, preferably within the e-commerce or digital retail industry. You should possess strong skills in journey mapping, blueprinting, and systems thinking, along with experience in reducing operational costs and enhancing service delivery through design. Being a skilled facilitator with the ability to align cross-functional teams, familiarity with enterprise platforms, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for designing scalable systems that drive tangible business impact are essential requirements.
