Job Description

A Service Associate acts as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, resolving issues, processing orders, and providing product information across various channels (phone, email, chat, in-person) to ensure customer satisfaction and build positive relationships, often utilizing CRM software and requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Key duties involve listening to concerns, offering solutions, maintaining records, processing payments, and escalating complex problems, while core requirements include patience, strong interpersonal skills, and adaptability. Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Respond to inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in-person; provide product/service details. Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve customer complaints, issues, and returns in a polite, timely manner. Order Processing: Take orders, calculate charges, process payments, and handle account updates. Information Management: Accurately document all customer interactions, update databases, and maintain confidentiality. Relationship Building: Build rapport with customers, follow up on issues, and suggest solutions. Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams to escalate complex issues and suggest process improvements.
