Since opening in September 2012, Windmills has become a place where friends and family come together to enjoy craft beer, delicious food, and beautiful music from around the world. Our other offering, our labour of love, Oota Bangalore. A restaurant that celebrates the cuisine, culture and traditions of Karnataka.

In Kannada, "Oota aita?" (Have you eaten?) is more than just a greeting. It's an ice-breaker, a question of general concern, and a symbol of Karnataka hospitality. Using that warmth and graciousness as inspiration, we created Oota, a dining experience that features hyper-local Karnataka cuisine

Your Role in Our Story

As a Server at Windmills, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an extraordinary dining experience. You will support the Captain and the service team in delivering exceptional service, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and upholding the high standards of hospitality that Windmills is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist servers and the Captain in providing seamless service and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining journey.
Support the service team by setting up tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering food and beverages promptly.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation, to answer guest inquiries accurately.
Ensure that dining areas are clean, organized, and properly set up before, during, and after service.
Assist in maintaining inventory levels by restocking supplies and notifying the Captain of any shortages.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and pleasant dining environment for guests and staff.
Handle guest requests and feedback with a positive attitude, escalating issues to the Captain when necessary.
Collaborate with the kitchen and service team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
