Your Role in Our Story As a Chef de Partie at Total Environment Hospitality Private Limited (TEHPL), you will play a pivotal role in our culinary team, contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences across our venues, Windmills and Oota. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with kitchen personnel to plan and develop recipes and menus that align with TEHPL’s culinary standards and guest preferences. Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen workers engaged in food preparation, ensuring efficiency and adherence to recipes and quality standards. Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen. Portion, arrange, and garnish food according to established guidelines, ensuring appealing presentation before serving to waitstaff or patrons. Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, taking corrective actions as needed. Determine production schedules and worker-time requirements to meet operational demands and maintain efficiency. Estimate amounts and costs of ingredients, and requisition supplies and equipment to maintain adequate stock levels and support kitchen operations. Train and instruct kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to recipes. Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables as required for food preparation, maintaining high standards of freshness and hygiene. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, and cook food items using various cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, and others. Butcher, cut, and bone meat, poultry, or shellfish prior to cooking, ensuring proper handling and preparation techniques. Prepare and bake bread, rolls, cakes, and pastries, maintaining consistency in taste and quality. Who We Are Looking For: Culinary Expertise: Demonstrated experience and proficiency in culinary techniques and food preparation across various stations. Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and motivate a team, ensuring efficient kitchen operations and adherence to quality standards. Attention to Detail: Meticulous in following recipes, portion control, and presentation standards to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Team Player: Collaborative attitude with strong communication skills to work effectively with kitchen staff and other departments. Adaptability: Flexible in handling changing priorities and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices, ensuring compliance and maintaining a safe working environment. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, showcasing culinary skill and leadership capabilities.
