In Kannada, "Oota aita?" (Have you eaten?) is more than just a greeting. It's an ice-breaker, a question of general concern, and a symbol of Karnataka hospitality. Using that warmth and graciousness as inspiration, we created Oota, a dining experience that features hyper-local Karnataka cuisine

About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate Commis Chef with specialisation in coffee preparation and South Indian cuisine. Along with your expertise, you will support the broader kitchen team to deliver high-quality food and beverages that enhance our guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages with consistency.
Cook authentic South Indian dishes maintaining traditional taste and presentation.
Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food production.
Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
Assist with inventory management and timely service for guests.
Flexibly contribute to other kitchen sections when required.

Who We’re Looking For:

2+ years of experience in hospitality, preferably in coffee and South Indian cuisine.
Passion for both culinary arts and beverages.
Strong attention to detail and recipe adherence.
A team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
Guest-focused mindset with a drive to deliver excellence.
