Role Summary

As a Server Engineer at F9 Infotech, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing hybrid server infrastructure with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. You’ll work extensively with Microsoft 365, Azure VMs, NC2 (Nutanix Cloud Clusters), and virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V. This role demands 5–6 years of experience in server engineering, with hands-on exposure to cloud technologies, especially in Azure. You’ll also contribute to system monitoring, identity management, and infrastructure optimization while mentoring junior engineers and supporting a secure, scalable IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based virtual server infrastructure, with a focus on Azure VMs and hybrid environments.
• User provisioning, license management in MS 365
• Implement and maintain VMware/Hyper-V, backup solutions, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Administer Microsoft Azure services including VMs, Storage, Backup, Site Recovery, and Monitor.
• Work with Microsoft Entra ID for hybrid identity, conditional access, and RBAC.
• Manage Windows Server and Linux systems across cloud and on-premises setups.
• Support and optimize NC2 (Nutanix Cloud Clusters) for hybrid cloud deployments.
• Collaborate on Zero Trust architecture, server hardening, and compliance initiatives.
• Monitor infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools.
• Document SOPs and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in server/infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure IaaS, especially Azure VMs.
• Familiarity with NC2 (Nutanix Cloud Clusters) and hybrid cloud integration.
• Proficient in Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and Hyper-V.
• Experience with Active Directory and its integration with Microsoft Entra ID for hybrid identity management.
• Experience with backup tools like Veeam and disaster recovery planning.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with KVM virtualization in enterprise or cloud environments.
• Advanced knowledge of VMware vSphere and virtual infrastructure optimization.
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments, especially Azure and hybrid cloud setups.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and infrastructure-as-code practices.

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

Projected Total Compensation: ₹700,000.00 - ₹860,000.00 per year
