SEO Intern

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and analytical SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. You will assist in optimizing our website, improving search rankings, and implementing SEO strategies to drive organic traffic. This internship provides hands-on experience in the field of digital marketing and search engine optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords for content and campaigns.
• Assist in on-page SEO optimization, including meta tags, headings, URLs, and image alt texts.
• Support off-page SEO initiatives, such as backlink research and link-building strategies.
• Monitor and report website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
• Conduct competitor analysis and provide actionable insights.
• Help optimize website content for search engines and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
• Support content creation teams to ensure SEO-friendly content.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of SEO concepts and digital marketing principles.
• Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated with the latest SEO trends.

Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous):

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or website content management systems (WordPress, Wix, etc.)
• Understanding of on-page and technical SEO.
• Experience with content marketing or blogging.
