Senior Workday Extend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using

  Workday Extend

  .
• Collaborate with HR and IT teams to gather requirements, define application specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure alignment of Workday Extend applications with business processes and system architecture.
• Develop integrations using

  Workday Studio

  ,

  EIB

  ,

  Core Connectors

  , and

  Web Services

  as needed.
• Maintain and enhance existing Workday Extend apps, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Mentor junior developers and support cross-functional teams in Workday development best practices.
• Monitor Workday releases and features to proactively recommend improvements and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom applications, integrations, and Workday configurations.
• Create technical documentation, including design specifications, unit test plans, and deployment plans.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Workday development, including at least

  2 years of hands-on experience with Workday Extend

  .
• Strong expertise in

  Workday Studio

  XML

  ,

  JSON

  ,

  REST/SOAP APIs

• Proficiency with Workday data sources, security configuration, and object model.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications in Workday.
• Strong understanding of Workday’s

  HCM

  Finance

  modules.

Preferred:

• Workday certifications in Extend and/or Studio.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools.
• Experience integrating third-party systems with Workday.
• Previous experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
