Job Description

Role Description Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled L3 Windows/Hyper-V Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Windows Server environments, Hyper-V failover clusters, storage systems, and virtualization technologies. This role is critical to ensuring system performance, availability, and disaster recovery capabilities across our data centers. Key Responsibilities Provide L3-level support and administration for Windows Server environments (2012 R2, 2016, and 2019). Expert-level management of Hyper-V failover clusters, using tools such as Hyper-V Manager and Failover Cluster Manager. Manage and maintain physical server infrastructure, preferably Dell hardware. Administer and support SAN storage, iSCSI, and multipath configurations, particularly in clustered environments. Configure and maintain replication of servers between primary and secondary sites for high availability and disaster recovery. Perform operating system upgrades and reinstallation as required. Provide basic Linux server support for VM deployment and troubleshooting. Manage Group Policies and Active Directory for system security and user administration. Conduct patch management and address vulnerabilities through timely fixes and updates. Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure high availability and stability. Manage user access controls and permissions. Coordinate with hardware and software vendors to resolve issues and manage escalations. Analyze system logs and troubleshoot errors proactively. Provide recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades by evaluating existing infrastructure. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to team initiatives and goals.
