Senior Windows Systems Administrator - Hyper-V with SAN

You will be responsible for providing L3-level support and administration for Windows Server environments including 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019. Expert-level management of Hyper-V failover clusters will be a key aspect of your role, utilizing tools such as Hyper-V Manager and Failover Cluster Manager. Managing and maintaining physical server infrastructure, particularly Dell hardware, will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will administer and support SAN storage, iSCSI, and multipath configurations, especially in clustered environments. Configuring and maintaining replication of servers between primary and secondary sites for high availability and disaster recovery will be crucial. You will be required to perform operating system upgrades and reinstallation as needed, along with providing basic Linux server support for VM deployment and troubleshooting. Managing Group Policies and Active Directory for system security and user administration, conducting patch management, addressing vulnerabilities through timely fixes and updates, monitoring and optimizing system performance, managing user access controls and permissions, and analyzing system logs to troubleshoot errors proactively are also part of this role. You will collaborate with hardware and software vendors to resolve issues, manage escalations, and provide recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades by evaluating existing infrastructure. Maintaining clear documentation and communication with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams will be essential.
