Role Description:

As a video editor, your main responsibility will be to arrange, assemble, and process recorded and

stock video clips into a seamless and polished final product. You will work closely with the production and marketing teams to ensure that the video aligns with the project goals.

Responsibilities

• Edit short- and long-form videos for the company's website and social media accounts.
• Take charge of video ideation and creation, bringing creative ideas to life.
• Ensure that the video content meets the desired quality standards and engages the target audience.
• Follow the script and screenplay/outline provided, maintaining the intended narrative flow.
• Assemble raw footage and transfer or upload it to a computer for editing.
• Collaborate with different professionals throughout the editing process to achieve the desired end product.

Qualifications

• Possess technical and creative skills in video editing, using digital software to organize video and sound files into a final product.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the seamless integration of video clips and audio elements.
• Knowledge of video editing techniques, such as transitions, color grading, and visual effects.
• Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or any other as required.
• Familiarity with recording equipment and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues when necessary.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with production and marketing teams.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
