Role Description As a video editor, your main responsibility will be to arrange, assemble, and process recorded and stock video clips into a seamless and polished final product. You will work closely with the production and marketing teams to ensure that the video aligns with the project goals. Responsibility Edit short- and long-form videos for the company's website and social media accounts. Take charge of video ideation and creation, bringing creative ideas to life. Ensure that the video content meets the desired quality standards and engages the target audience. Follow the script and screenplay/outline provided, maintaining the intended narrative flow. Assemble raw footage and transfer or upload it to a computer for editing. Collaborate with different professionals throughout the editing process to achieve the desired end product. Qualifications and Skills Possess technical and creative skills in video editing, using digital software to organize video and sound files into a final product. Strong attention to detail to ensure the seamless integration of video clips and audio elements. Knowledge of video editing techniques, such as transitions, color grading, and visual effects. Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or any other as required. Familiarity with recording equipment and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues when necessary. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with production and marketing teams. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
