About Us:

Roar Picture Company is a dynamic film production company based in Mumbai, looking for inhouse video editor. Editors will be responsible for creating captivating and high-quality content for Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms. Occasionally they might be involved in film editing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Editing of video content for YouTube, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and requirements.
• Help with selecting and assembling footage, applying transitions, effects, and soundtracks.
• Ensure videos are engaging, on-brand, and optimized for different platforms.
• Organize and manage video files efficiently.

Requirements:

• Good hands-on experience in video editing.
• Familiarity with video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve
• Understanding of video formats and resolutions for different platforms, strong vision for reels/shorts.
• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Occasionally, shooting of content (BTS, Interviews etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
• Familiarity with SEO and video optimization strategies for YouTube.
• Awareness of current social media trends and best practices.
• Ability to automate processes via AI

On the domestic front, "The Pickup Artist" made history by being the first movie to grace Indian cinemas post-lockdown, captivating audiences from its release on 16 October 2020. It boasted a remarkable 6-week-long theatrical run, boasting countless sold-out shows, a testament to its resilience even amid the challenges posed by COVID. In 2021, the film found a new audience on Amazon Prime (https://shorturl.at/MG25C), where it continues to thrive, garnering enthusiastic viewership.

Our second feature film "Mcguffin" released in Cinemas in August, 2025.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
