Senior Vice President-Fraud Analytics

**Role Overview:** As a part of the Citi Analytics & Information Management (AIM) team, you will be leading the Financial Crimes & Fraud Prevention Analytics in the Fraud Operation team based in Pune/Bangalore. Reporting to the Director/Managing Director, AIM, your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of data scientists in developing and implementing Machine Learning (ML) / AI / Gen AI models for fraud prevention. You will collaborate with the model implementation team, ensure model documentation, and contribute to achieving overall business goals by analyzing data and developing effective models. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ML/AI/Gen AI, with a strong understanding of AI and ML concepts, and the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences. - Manage a team of data scientists working on various tools and technologies for ML / AI / Gen AI model development on different platforms, providing technical leadership and guidance. - Customize and fine-tune existing RAG frameworks or design new RAG frameworks to meet project requirements, showcasing thought leadership in developing and implementing ML/AI/Gen AI solutions. - Extensively work on advanced programming languages and databases such as SQL, NoSQL, Teradata, Python, big data platforms like Hue, Impala, Spark, and communicate analytical concepts effectively. - Establish governance frameworks for model development, deployment, and monitoring to meet model risk management guidelines, staying updated on regulatory frameworks and industry standards. - Oversee the end-to-end model development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality model deployment, and promoting collaboration among multidisciplinary teams for innovation. - Manage a team of 15+ data scientists, providing career progression, performance management, coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 15+ years of analytics experience in core model development using ML/AI/Gen AI techniques, with a strong knowledge of model development stages and industry best practices. - Proficiency in coding with experience in big data environments, and a strong understanding of ML / DL applications and algorithms. - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. - At least 8 years of people management experience, with a proven track record of building and deploying generative models-based solutions in production environments. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence business outcomes and decisions. - Strong coordination, project management, and strategic thinking skills, with the capability to frame business problems and deliver projects successfully in challenging environments.
