Senior Urban Designer

You will be joining INI Design Studio as a Senior Urban Designer in a full-time capacity. As a Senior Urban Designer, your role will encompass a diverse set of responsibilities. You will be responsible for overseeing client interactions, managing projects, engaging stakeholders, designing and developing projects, and coordinating with various disciplines and consultants. Your primary focus will be on understanding client needs, ensuring project timelines are met, and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality work efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include managing client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, leading project design and development efforts while adhering to project goals, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to integrate project components effectively, preparing necessary documents and drawings such as tender documents and construction drawings, and monitoring project schedules and budgets to achieve milestones successfully. To excel in this role, you should hold a Master's or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the industry, showcasing a solid background in architectural and urban design. Experience in Tourism-based Urban Design projects would be beneficial. Proficiency in preparing tender documents, drawings, and construction drawings is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to lead a team efficiently, collaborate with colleagues and clients, and manage multiple projects concurrently. Familiarity with sustainability principles and Green certifications like LEED, IGBC, or GRIHA is desirable. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit is necessary. You should also be willing to travel to project locations for meetings as needed.,
