Sr. Electrical Designer - Buildings
We at Shashi Prabhu & Associate are looking to hire a Senior Electrical Design Engineer. If you are a confident and experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a passion for high and low voltage system design with a proven track record working on large-scale architectural and engineering projects, our team may be right for you. We design hospitals, sports stadiums, educational institutes and campuses and other related projects. Key Responsibilities: Design electrical systems, including Substation, Receiving Stations, lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems. Develop detailed electrical design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and calculations. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions. Support project managers in planning, execution, and delivery of electrical design components. Conduct design reviews and site inspections to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project requirements. Liaise with clients to ascertain their requirements and provide technical support. What We're Looking For: B.E. (Electrical) (M.Tech encouraged) from a reputed University. . 10+ years of experience in electrical design, specifically in low voltage systems. Experience in working on large-scale architectural and engineering projects. Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar tools. Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NBC, IEC). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred). Familiarity with sustainable design practices (Griha & IGBC a plus). Why Join Us?
