Sr. Electrical Designer - Buildings

We at Shashi Prabhu & Associate are looking to hire a Senior Electrical Design Engineer.

If you are a confident and experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a passion for high and low voltage system design with a proven track record working on large-scale architectural and engineering projects, our team may be right for you. We design hospitals, sports stadiums, educational institutes and campuses and other related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems, including Substation, Receiving Stations, lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
• Develop detailed electrical design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Support project managers in planning, execution, and delivery of electrical design components.
• Conduct design reviews and site inspections to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Liaise with clients to ascertain their requirements and provide technical support.

What We're Looking For:

• B.E. (Electrical) (M.Tech encouraged) from a reputed University. .
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design, specifically in low voltage systems.
• Experience in working on large-scale architectural and engineering projects.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NBC, IEC).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices (Griha & IGBC a plus).
