Senior Travel Consultant

Job Title: Senior Travel ConsultantOverviewWe are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong destination knowledge, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to curate personalized travel experiences for clients. This role involves managing complex itineraries, providing expert advice, and ensuring a seamless travel process from consultation to completion. Key Responsibilities Design and sell customized domestic & international holiday packages based on client preferences and budget. Provide expert guidance on destinations, travel requirements, visas, insurance, and documentation. Handle end-to-end bookings including flights, hotels, cruises, transfers, sightseeing, and activities. Manage VIP and premium traveller requests with high attention to detail. Maintain strong relationships with travel partners, hotels, DMCs, and suppliers. Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp. Upsell and cross-sell travel services to maximize revenue. Resolve issues during travel and provide real-time support to clients. Stay updated on travel trends, airline rules, embassy updates, and new products. Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall team performance. Requirements Minimum 2–4 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry. Strong knowledge of global destinations, itineraries, and travel products. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Ability to handle high-volume inquiries and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proven track record of meeting sales targets. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a travel agency specialising in luxury or customized travel. Familiarity with group travel, MICE, and corporate bookings. Certification in tourism or hospitality management (optional but preferred).
