Senior Test Engineer

Domain skillset required : Corporate loans **Role Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality and stability of our digital banking platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-to-end testing across complex, high-volume systems and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver defect-free releases under tight deadlines. **Key Responsibilities:** * Plan, design, and execute test cases for UAT, regression, pre-production, and post-production phases. * Validate functionality, performance, and compliance for critical modules (e.g., payments, beneficiary management). * Identify, log, track, and close defects using tools like JIRA. * Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to align features with business needs. * Maintain test dashboards and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders. * Conduct API testing and work with relevant automation/manual testing tools. * Support knowledge sharing and training within the QA team. **Requirements:** * 3–5 years of hands-on experience in software testing (banking domain preferred). * Strong skills in manual testing and familiarity with automation tools. * Proficiency with JIRA, API testing, and defect management processes. * Ability to manage large-scale test execution within tight timelines. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. **Nice to Have:** * Experience in digital banking platforms (Corporate Internet Banking preferred). * Exposure to performance and security testing.
