Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Tester to serve as a key independent contributor to our quality assurance efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced test strategies and leveraging cutting-edge tools to enhance our testing processes. This role requires deep expertise in functional testing, a strong command of test automation, and an advanced understanding of AI-driven testing and prompt engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead the development of comprehensive test plans, and test cases for software projects.

● Execute functional tests, both manual and automated, to validate software quality.

● Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.

● Knowledge of the use of AI tools in testing (mandate skill), including crafting effective prompts for generating test data, test cases, and analyzing results.

● Understanding of API testing, creating and managing comprehensive Postman collections and automating API tests (mandate).

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and ensure adherence throughout the SDLC.

● Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters on assigned projects.

● Demonstrate strong proficiency in JavaScript / Python, either of the 2 languages to build robust automation solutions and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

● 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

● Expertise in functional testing and test automation best practices.

● Demonstrated experience using AI tools for testing and a solid understanding of prompt engineering.

● Experience with Postman for automated API testing.

● Proficiency in JavaScript and Python for test automation and scripting.

● Good communication, and analytical skills.
