Senior Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Perform end-to-end manual testing of Health & Life Insurance claims functionality. Execute test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications. Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand requirements and clarify functional flows. Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects. Create and maintain test data and test cases. Log defects clearly and concisely using standard defect tracking tools. Participate in defect triage meetings and provide detailed reproduction steps. Communicate effectively via email and documentation to ensure clarity and traceability. Demonstrate ownership and a go-getter attitude, especially during critical delivery phases. Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience in manual testing, preferably in the insurance domain (Health & Life Claims). Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into test scenarios. Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with BAs and developers. Strong written communication skills for defect logging and email correspondence. Self-motivated with a willingness to stretch working hours during peak phases. Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Experience in test case and test data creation. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. ISTQB certification or equivalent (Good to have).
