Senior Test Automation Engineer

As a highly analytical Senior Test Automation Engineer specializing in Cypress, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of test automation processes for our client projects. Here's what you can expect in this role: **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the analysis of system requirements and devise effective test automation strategies. - Implement automated and manual testing processes using tools like Cypress, nUnit, and TestRail. - Design robust test automation frameworks aligned with quality benchmarks and system goals. - Take ownership of test automation delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and coordination with cross-functional teams. - Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements, particularly in healthcare/PHI standards and HIPAA. - Review user journey mapping and process flows for comprehensive test coverage. - Identify and address gaps in requirements, consulting with Product Owners for clarity. - Provide estimations for automation efforts and collaborate during sprint planning sessions. - Mentor team members on test scripts, strategies, and best practices. - Drive documentation best practices and maintain key artifacts in tools like Jira and Confluence. - Generate and analyze automated quality reports, sharing insights with stakeholders. - Define structured debugging and triage processes for efficient issue resolution. - Maintain User Acceptance Criteria and support Gherkin syntax where applicable. - Coordinate with stakeholders to provide updates on QA progress. **Key Skills:** - Proficiency in Cypress Stack for multi-browser testing. - Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. - Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. - Ability to work with Zephyr and JIRA. - Experience in designing and conducting load tests using tools like Locust or JMeter. - Knowledge of Security Testing is a plus. - Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD). - Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, or similar source code repositories. - Understanding of test automation and CI/CD tools. - Proficient in Agile estimation techniques and project planning. - Knowledge of info-security principles at the code level. - Understanding of code performance implications and optimization techniques. **Education and Experience:** - B Tech or B.
