Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Key Distributor Management: Ø Plan the distributor & dealer network required for various Territories. Ø Guide the team on selection of the right distributor & dealer. Ø Review the distributor & dealer performance on an ongoing basis. Ø Develop good interpersonal relations with the dealer for fostering business partnerships. Ø Ensure proper after sales services by distributors & dealers by formulating SOP’s and tracking their performance. Ø Resolve conflicts if any. Sales: Ø Formulating Sales budget for the territory basis discussion with the RM/ZM. Ø Cascading the sales budget for various territories with the respective ASM’s. Ø Review & monitor performance of the state/Territory. Ø Head the monthly & quarterly review meetings across the zone. Ø Guide & motivate the team for achievement of sales targets. Ø Plan various sales related schemes for the region. Credit Control: Ø Recommend credit limits for the distributors and dealers basis the timelines & SOP’s laid by the management. Ø Formulate the collection strategy for the states and share the regional targets accordingly. Ø Manage & review collection performance of different territories. Ø Resolve conflicts if any. Ø Formulate strategy for faster collection of overdue accounts. Monitoring & reviewing sales performance of territories. Conduct team meetings, channel development setting sales targets guiding the team on selection of right distributor overseeing sales promotional activities conflict resolutions track the inventory at distributor locations, track the stock returns, laisoning with govt. dept Establishing new market/terriotires Experience (years) 4 to 8 yrs experience. Industry Preferred For SEEDS (MASL) : Seeds Industry expeirence from field crop /Vegetable seeds Qualification B.Sc/MBA Agri /M.s.c/B.Tech Agri Competencies 1. Result Orientation with Execution Excellence 2. Customer Focus 3. Leveraging Human Capital Ø Candidate should be dynamic with good communication skills Ø Should be flexible to travel. Ø Technical knowledge of product. Ø Relevat experience in agri. marketing sales. Ø Ability to follow sales trends and market needs for prompt action. 1. Market Intelligence 2. Technical Knowledge 3.
