Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior BIM Architect located in Nagpur. The Senior BIM Architect will be responsible for leading BIM projects, creating and managing architectural and construction drawings, coordinating submittals, and ensuring the effective use of building information modeling. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve project success.

Senior Tekla Modeler – Job Responsibilities

• Prepare

  2D fabrication drawings, erection plans, general arrangement drawings, and shop drawings

  for structural steelwork projects.
• Possess strong knowledge of 3D modeling and detailing using Tekla Structures, with additional working knowledge of Revit considered an advantage.
• Develop

  assembly, erection, and fabrication drawings

  for various steel components with high accuracy.
• Work with the

  design and engineering team

  to ensure models are precise and well-coordinated with other disciplines.
• Ensure that all drawings and models strictly adhere to

  company standards, project specifications, and industry codes

  .
• Collaborate with

  Senior Detailers and Engineers

  to review project requirements and deliver appropriate detailing solutions.
• Coordinate with project team members to

  identify and resolve detailing or modeling issues

  efficiently.
• Maintain and update

  project documentation

  , including models, drawings, and revision logs.
• Incorporate

  client feedback, engineer’s revisions, and field changes

  into drawings and models promptly.
• Conduct

  self-checks

  to ensure dimensional accuracy, alignment, and material consistency in all deliverables.
• Support senior team members in achieving

  project deadlines and schedules

  while maintaining quality.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior modelers when required, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Drawings
• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques and tools
• Experience in creating and managing Construction Drawings
• Ability to handle and coordinate Submittals
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Relevant professional certifications or training in BIM is beneficial
• Previous experience in large-scale projects or with industry leaders
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, related field
