Senior Technical Writer - Financial / Trading Domain

As a Senior Technical Writer specializing in the Financial/Trading domain with Exchange Connectivity/IB (Interactive Brokers)/FIX Protocol, you will be joining a team of 18 technical writers at a product company in Pune. Your primary responsibility will involve producing and maintaining user documentation for trading software and services. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with project and product managers to determine documentation content - Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other experts globally to gather technical information - Develop technical and functional guides, update content, and incorporate new information as products evolve - Organize content using an XML editor - Create graphics to enhance documentation - Share knowledge and experiences with team members Qualifications Required: - Excellent writing skills with the ability to understand and cater to diverse target audiences - Proficiency in translating complex technical information into clear and concise English - Familiarity with writing guidelines and review processes - Experience in structured writing using XML - Basic understanding of IT concepts such as networks and client-server models - Knowledge of financial markets from front to back-office operations - Familiarity with agile principles is a plus - Strong communication skills in English - Resourceful, creative, and flexible mindset - Team player with the ability to work independently - Quick learner who can follow instructions effectively - Prioritization skills to balance long-term requirements and short-term goals In terms of academic background, a degree in B.Sc/B.Com/M.Sc/MCA/B.E/B.Tech would be suitable for this role in the banking/financial industry.
