Senior Technical Writer - Financial / Trading Domain

As a Senior Technical Writer in the Financial / Trading domain with Exchange Connectivity / IB (Interactive Brokers) / FIX Protocol, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining user documentation. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of 18 technical writers globally and collaborate with project and product managers to define documentation content. Your role will involve working closely with developers, QA engineers, and other experts to gather technical information, write technical and functional guides, structure content using an XML editor, prepare graphics, and share knowledge with colleagues. **Key Responsibilities:** - Liaise with project and product managers to define documentation content. - Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other experts to obtain knowledge and technical information. - Write technical and functional guides, incorporate changes, and add new information as products evolve. - Structure content using an XML editor. - Prepare graphics. - Share knowledge and experience with colleagues. **Qualifications Required:** - Ability to understand target audiences and their needs. - Ability to translate technical information into simple, concise English. - Ability to adhere to writing guidelines and review processes. - Experience of structured writing (XML). - Basic IT knowledge (networks, client-server model). - Knowledge of financial markets (front- to back-office). - Knowledge of agile principles is a plus. - English speaker. - A good communicator, resourceful, creative, and flexible. - A team player who is also capable of working autonomously. - Able to learn quickly and follow instructions. - Able to prioritize long-term requirements with short-term objectives.,
