Senior Technical Writer - Financial / Trading Domain

As a Technical Writer with expertise in Exchange Connectivity, IB (Interactive Brokers), and FIX Protocol within the Financial/Trading domain, you will join the Trading Software and Services documentation group based in Pune. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain user documentation critical for the success of the products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with project and product managers to outline documentation content - Working with developers, QA engineers, and other experts globally to gather technical insights - Drafting technical and functional guides - Updating content as products evolve - Structuring content through an XML editor - Creating graphics - Sharing knowledge with team members To excel in this role, you should possess exceptional writing skills, the ability to understand target audiences, translate complex technical information into clear English, and follow writing guidelines and review processes diligently. Experience in structured writing using XML, basic IT knowledge related to networks and the client-server model, and familiarity with financial markets are essential. Knowledge of agile principles would be advantageous. You should be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills. Being resourceful, creative, and flexible are qualities that will enhance your performance. Collaboration and the ability to work independently, quick learning, following instructions, and prioritizing long-term objectives alongside short-term requirements are crucial for success in this role. This position requires expertise in User Documentation, Technical Writing, networking, client-server model, Trading, FIX Protocol, Exchange Connectivity, XML, XML Editor, Front office Trading, Back office trading, and Derivatives. An educational background in B.Sc, B.Com, M.Sc, MCA, B.E, or B.Tech within the Banking/Financial sector is ideal.
