Description
As a Technology Program Manager at Wolters Kluwer, your role involves driving the technological direction for business-critical applications in alignment with the overall business vision and strategic objectives. Your key responsibilities include: - Leading and managing the full lifecycle of technology programs and projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements. - Orchestrating and coordinating efforts across diverse development, QA, and operations teams for seamless project execution and delivery. - Leading the adoption and implementation of DevSecOps practices for all relevant products to enhance security, efficiency, and collaboration. - Acting as the primary technology liaison for designated business units, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication. - Identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical and project risks, and developing contingency plans for smooth project progression. - Supporting the Product Owner in managing customer expectations, stakeholder communications, and implementing an effective system of project governance. - Assisting the Release Train Engineer (RTE) in identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities within a program. - Monitoring project performance, tracking key metrics, and providing regular updates to stakeholders on progress, challenges, and successes. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies, with 5+ years of experience as a Technology Program Manager. - Experience managing large, complex initiatives in a high-tech development environment with multi-functional teams following SAFe methodologies. - Good understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, .NET, JavaScript (AngularJS), or PHP. - Solid understanding of software development life cycle models. - Ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive content model aligning with business goals and user needs. - Experience in analytics (data and content) and using tools like JIRA, Miro, Google Analytics, and Pendo. - Strong interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, planning, organizational skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills in English. - Creative problem-solving approach with attention to detail while maintaining a big picture view.
