Trianz | Accelerating Digital Evolution Leaders in Product Engineering, Data & Analytics Consulting, APPS & Experience Consulting, Hybrid Cloud Consulting, IT infrastructure services, managed services and IT security consulting. Shift: 6 PM to 3 AM JD: Endpoint security platform engineer for Sophos AV and Vulnerability Management & Patching on Windows and Linux Server Skill Set Required for Sophos AV. 5+ years of experience in the area of Endpoint Security solution design and implementation 3+ year of experience in managing and maintaining AV (Sophos) and EDR agents in Workstation, USB and EP encryption, DLP agent deployment, policy management, defining client tasks including web filter agent. For servers only: manage and maintain the AV and EDR agents including policy management, defining server tasks. Manage and maintain the AV, Encryption, and DLP infrastructure Monitor the Protect Suite Management console for alerts and findings Maintain and create Access Protection lists as and when new variants of viruses and potential attacks are announced. Manage and maintain the Protection Suite infrastructure which includes console, Agent Handlers, Distributed Repositories and Protection Suite Management Database. Manage and maintain the EDR and Advanced Malware Endpoint agent, perform policy management Skill Set Required for Vulnerability Management & Patching for Windows and Linux Server. 6+ years of experience in vulnerability management in patching servers, laptops, desktops, notebooks using any patching tool. Experience in performing the patching manually to all servers and endpoints every month Perform Vulnerability assessment scans across all Endpoints Maintain a thorough knowledge of the threat landscape Assess the vulnerability based on CVSS scoring system Vulnerability prioritization and coordination with Patch Management team Configure vulnerability exceptions based on client inputs Perform Ad-hoc scans on request Configure vulnerability reports and dashboards. Support for cloud vulnerability assessment integration Conduct a monthly network vulnerability scans Provide the vulnerability scan results Recommend remediations and apply patches to close specific system vulnerabilities Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and reviews alerts, industry news, threat intelligence and security data. Actively hunts for threats within the network, as well as unknown vulnerabilities and security gaps Work with client to establish a list of production systems that cannot be patched, and/or cannot have anti-virus or agents of any kind implemented that might interfere with manufacturing activities
