Role Overview

Senior Technical Lead Node.js Developer

Objectives

• Architect, design, and optimize scalable APIs and backend systems using

  Node.js

  .
• Act as a

  player-coach

  – balancing individual contributions with team leadership.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and compliance with

  data privacy/security standards

  .
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimization.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of

  large-scale, distributed backend services

  .
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into

  scalable technical solutions

  .
• Write

  clean, maintainable, and high-quality code

  while reviewing and guiding others’ contributions.
• Conduct

  design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews

  to ensure technical excellence.
• Drive integrations with

  Google Analytics, third-party APIs, and ad exchanges

  .
• Champion best practices for

  performance tuning, monitoring, and fault-tolerant systems

  .
• Stay updated with emerging trends in

  Node.js, cloud-native development, and AdTech technologies

  .
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture through

  mentorship and leadership

  .

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (exceptional coding performance on LeetCode/HackerRank may substitute).
  

• 6–10 years of backend engineering experience

  with

  Node.js

  , including at least

  2+ years in a lead/mentorship role

  .
• Expertise in

  NestJS or Express.js frameworks

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  JavaScript, TypeScript, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles

  .
• Deep understanding of

  RESTful APIs, web protocols, and microservices architecture

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  SQL and NoSQL databases

  .
• Exposure to

  Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch

  .
• Proficiency with

  Git/version control

  and collaborative workflows.
• Knowledge of

  CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps practices

  .
• Strong

  communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with

  AdTech platforms (display, mobile, video advertising)

• Familiarity with
