Senior Technical Consultant [JIRA Integration]

We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Technical Consultant to join our team located in Perficient - Nagpur / Pune / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai. #LI-Onsite As a Senior Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. Strong knowledge of Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.). Proven experience in integrating Jira SaaS with Jira DC (Customer to SaaS and SaaS to On-Prem). Experience with Salesforce and understanding of Salesforce-Jira integration use cases. Proficient in REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware tools (e.g., Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, or custom solutions). Familiarity with JSON, XML, data mapping, and transformation debugging. Ability to troubleshoot sync issues and data mismatches across systems. Experience with secure data exchange and handling authentication protocols (OAuth, API tokens). Strong problem-solving and communication skills, capable of working independently and in cross-functional teams.5+ years of hands-on experience with Jira (preferably Jira Cloud and Jira Data Center environments). Monitor sync jobs and investigate data discrepancies, latency, and mapping issues between integrated systems. Collaborate with internal IT teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure smooth integration rollouts. Provide recommendations on best practices for scaling and maintaining Jira integrations securely and efficiently. Perform regular system audits, data integrity checks, and configuration reviews. Document integration designs, error-handling approaches, and process flows for reusability and knowledge transfer.
