Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead the cost estimation function for sheet metal fabrication projects.
Supervise and mentor a team of estimation engineers, ensuring quality and timely RFQ submissions.
Review customer requirements and provide accurate quotations with cost justifications.
Liaise with sales, design, procurement, and production to finalize costing structures.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis for new projects.
Maintain centralized costing database and drive process improvements.
Stay updated on material pricing trends, fabrication technologies, and vendor developments.
Prepare management reports on RFQ performance, estimation accuracy, and KPIs.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
3 to 8 years of experience in cost estimation for sheet metal fabrication.
Minimum 2 years in team leadership or managerial role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, CATIA, Solidworks, MS Office.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Exposure to SAP B1 Hana preferred.
Willingness to travel and work in Talegaon Dabhade.
